Summer Reading Program Kick-Off


Summer Library Program from the Eddy-New Rockford Library


Readers of all ages will explore all things space this summer as the Eddy-New Rockford Library presents “A Universe of Stories” during their summer library program.

Activities may include a space green screen pictures, group games, space-related crafts, and more. The 2019 Summer Reading Program is open to young people, kindergarten through young adult, with programs, storytimes, and more.

Friday May 31st we will have our kick-off from 2-3:30 we will have a green screen with space backgrounds, a craft and an outdoor game.

On June 12th from 4-6 we will have an exhibit of actual Moon Rocks on loan from NASA .

Every Wednesday starting June 5th at 2 pm we will watch Storytime from Space on the big screen, these are books being read by people on the space station.

Again this year kids in grades K-6 will read 5 books do an activity from the sheet and get a movie pass, kids 7-12 grade read 6 books to get a movie pass.
